The next 100 years of GNU/Linux - by Klaus Knopper

Klaus Knopper, creator of Knoppix, a well-known live CD Linux distribution, will be addressing open source technology enthusiasts at LinuxAsia 2007. Knopper will present his views on the next 100 years of GNU/Linux. Knopper will be accompanied by his wife, Adriane, who will present a talk on a GNU/Linux system that can be used without vision, for work and fun, Internet and multimedia access, without even having to know what's a "shell".
 

 
Brian Behlendorf to keynote at LinuxAsia 2007

Brian Behlendorf, co-founder of the Apache Web Server Project and VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) effort, will be presenting a keynote speech at LinuxAsia 2007. Behlendorf, who is currently a director of the Mozilla Foundation and former (retired) director and president of the Apache Software Foundation, will speak on the top technology trends for the year 2007.
 

 
LinuxAsia and PricewaterhouseCoopers join hands

LinuxAsia has entered into a mutually beneficial agreement with PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt. Ltd. (PwC). PwC is one of the largest professional services companies in the world, providing industry-focused services to public and private clients. PwC will work closely with the LinuxAsia team in formulating the agenda for some key tracks, documenting the proceedings and presenting the recommendations for the future.
